Ahmed Musa’s goal against Mordovia Saransk in the 23rd round of games in the Russia Premier League took his season’s goal tally to 10 for the second consecutive season.

Musa scored in the 25th minute to give his team a 4-0 lead in a game they eventually won 7-1.

Aside his goal, he provided two assists for Roman Eremenko and Alan Dzagoev to keep CSKA Moscow top of the league, one point better than their closest challengers Rostov.

23 year old Musa has been in Russia since 2012 and has only once failed to score double digit in the four and half years he has spent with the Russian Champions.

However this season with seven games less than that of last he has already equaled his goal haul of 10 from just 23 games as oppose to last season when he needed 30 games to score same amount of goals.

A potential scramble for his signature will most likely happen in the summer although CSKA Moscow will be reluctant to let their prize assest leave and might even demand more than what Leicester City were asked to pay for the 23 year old during the winter transfer window.
