After a journey man stint playing in four different countries for five different teams Christian Obodo appears to have returned to the form that made him a hit in Italy earlier on in his career.

The 31 year old has so far scored four times in his last six games for Romanian Concordia Chiajna a team he joined during the winter transfer window.

Recruited to help the team beat the drop to the second division in Romania, from the 9 games he has played in the league he has scored three times and that includes his strike yesterday that helped them snatch a point against fellow bottom team Petrolul Piolesti in the relagation playoffs.

The point gained keep them 6th on the 8th team table, a spot which will go a long way in determining their fate at the end of the playoffs.

On a short term contract till the end of the season the ex Udinese man will be glad if he keeps the team up which might determine if he gets an extension and it will also come as a welcome relief for the man who suffered relegation with Olhanense in Portugal two seasons ago.
