Viking of Norway secured passage to the next round of the Norwegian Cup with their Nigerian import, Aniekpeno Udoh opening the flood gate of goals that saw them thrash Vardeneset 5-1.
Udoh in his first season in Norway opened scoring for Viking in the 40th minute, his first goal for the team since joining the team from Nigeria Federations Cup winners, Akwa United.
However he missed out on grabbing the headlines which was stolen by his teammate Patrick Pedersen who scored a treble in the game.
The game saw three of the four Nigerians on the club books featuring with Udoh and Usman Sale starting while Samuel Adegbenro came on as a substitute in the 64th minute.
Suleiman Abdullahi, the fourth Nigerian at the team was an unused substitute in the game.
