MICHAEL TUKURA SCORES TO KEEP HAPOEL RAMAT GAN PROMOTION HOPES ALIVE

Former Wikki Tourist midfielder Micheal Tukura scored a vital opener for Hapoel Ramat Gan Maccabi to help hem beat Ahi Nazareth 2-0 in the Israeli Playoffs further brightening their chances of securing promotion to the top league in Israel.

Tukura broke the deadlock as early as the fifth minute of play to put his side in the driving seat very early in the game which helped boost their confidence in their second playoff game after losing their first game 1-2 to Maccabi Herzliya.

The three points gained from the game moved Hapoel Ramat Gan to third on the 8 team promotion playoffs table just three points behind leaders FC Ashdod after two games in the series where only the team that finishes top secures promotion to the top flight league in Israel.

27 year old Tukura made 31 appearances for Hapoel Ramat Gan in the regular season scoring twice in the process against Ironi Ramat Hasharon and Apoel Afula.
