SFAXIEN’S LUKMAN ZAKARI CALLED INTO FLYING EAGLES SQUAD

Sfaxien of Tunisia 17 year old Nigeria U-17 World Cup winner Lukman Zakari yesterday formally received an invitation to join the Flying Eagles of Nigeria in camp.

In a letter signed by team secretary Aliyu Lawal Ibrahim, dated 14th of April, the Nigeria Football Federation requested for the Sfaxien highly rated teen to be released on or before 17th of April for camping ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming Africa Youth Championship qualifiers against Burundi.

Zakari is expected to join the rest of his colleague who have been in camp at the Serob Legacy hotel,Wuye District,Abuja.

The NFF clearly stated in the letter that he will return back to his club immediately after Nigeria games against Burundi schedule for the weekend of 20th-22nd of March and the weekend of 10th-12th of June 2016.

Sfaxien of Tunisia signed Zakari on a pre contract agreement expected to be turned into a professional contract when he turns 18 in December later this year.
