Super Eagle left full back Stanley Amuzie emerged as the match winner for his Portguese side scoring his first professional goal on the dot of regulation time to help them to a 1-0 victory over Farense.

Amuzie capped twice by Nigeria during the ill fated AFCON 2017 qualifiers games against Egypt moved to Europe from Flying Sports Academy of Lagos and after an injury scuttled his chances of joining Italian side Sampdoria, he is presently making an impression with second division Portuguese side Olhanense.

So far he has made 8 appearances with no caution yet to his name for 11th place Olhanense and aside been a member of the Nigeria senior team, he is expected to be among the players to defend Nigeria’s flag at the summer Olympics in Rio.

Still only 20 years old, they are reports he could still return to Sampdoria after this season although the player and his management team are yet to react to the speculations.
