Eddy Onazi who is presently enjoying a new lease of life under new Lazio coach, Simone Inzaghi repaid the fate the coach has in him by scoring his side second goal as they secured a 2-0 win over Empoli in the Serie A.
The goal was his first goal of the season from the 10 games he has played in the league no thanks to the bench role he endured under former manager Stefano Pioli.
However new coach Inzaghi who took over two weeks ago has played the 23 year old from the start in the two games he has handled the team in the league.
After posting a superlative performance last week against Palermo, he took his new found form a step further by scoring Lazio’s second goal in the 44th minute.
The goal helped him sustain his record of one goal a season in the league since 2012 when he was promoted to the first team of the Serie A side.
