Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi was sent off in the 61st minute as Uniao Madeira went down 3-4 against Pacos de Ferreira.

Shehu picked up two yellow cards within a space of two minutes in the 59th and 61st minute with scores at 2-2 but his dismissal proved disastrous for his team as they conceded two more goal to lose the thrilling encounter 3-4 with Diogo Jota scoring a late winner for the visitors.

The game was the 23rd game the 23 year old has played this season with a goal to his name more worrisome the red card is the first of his career since moving out of Nigeria in 2015 when he joined Al-Qadsia of Kuwait.
