A third minute goal by Nigerian forward, Samuel Kalu was the difference between AS Trencin and Ruzomberok in a Fortuna League game in Slovakia.

17 year old Kalu scored his first top flight goal against same team two weeks ago in a cup game which Trencin won 5-1 before scoring his first league goal four days later against Spartak Myjava.

Three minutes was all he needed to score his third goal of the season and it was good enough to help his team pull nine points clear of their closest challengers Slovan Bratislava.

Kalu and three other Nigerians played in the game with Rabiu Ibrahim and Kingsley Madu who have already been capped by Nigeria at senior level lasting the entire duration of the game.

Aliko Bala was introduced in the 76th minute for David Guba bringing to four the number of Nigerians on parade at the Mestsky Futbalovy Stadion Na Sihoti.
