Agent of Ejike Chidera popularly refereed to as “Nigerian Iniesta”, Babawo Mohammed has confirmed to Owngoalnigeria.com that the 16 year old who is due to undergo trials with Liverpool has gotten the all clear to travel after receiving his visa from the Belgium embassy.
Liverpool have already concluded plans to loan out the duo of Suleiman Abdullahi and Jacob Njoku if they are successful in the trials but will reportedly offer study scholarship to Chidera Ejike and Ezeh Chinedu who are yet to be 18 year old to study in the UK while they train with the U-18 of the Premiership team.
As part of the pre requisite for their trials with Liverpool, The Merseyside based team instructed the quartet of Jacob Njoku,Suleiman Abdullahi,Chidera Ejike and Ezeh Charles Chinedu to obtain traveling visas to Belgium as they intend to loan them to Belgium league side Sint Truidense VV if they scale the trials.
“We got our visas last week and anytime soon we will be in the United Kingdom (UK), Liverpool precisely where the trials will take place, it took a while for us to get the Belgium visa unlike that of the UK, but all that is in the past now” Babawo Mohammed told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Liverpool presently have three players of Nigeria descendants in their first team squad in Jordon Ibe,Seyi Ojo and Thiago Ilori while Nigeria youth international Taiwo Awoniyi is out on loan to Freiburg in Germany.
Aside the first team players, two players of Nigerian descendants, Ovie Ejiara and Bobby Adekanye are presently with two differents arms of the youth team set up at Liverpool.
