Manchester City two goals hero Kelechi Iheanacho says his team put up a horror showing at St Mary’s where they lost 4-2 to Southampton.
However the 19 year old insist they will put the disappointment behind them when they take on Real Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final game in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
This game didn’t give us enough encouragement. But we will put it behind us and focus on the Real Madrid game.
“Many things went wrong in our team. We lost so many balls and didn’t defend well.
“I think we’re going to come stronger in the next game.”
19 year old Iheanacho now has 13 goals in all competition for Manchester City making him their third top scorer in all competition behind Sergio Kun Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne.
