Crystal Palace highly rated 18 year old, Jason Akiotu believes he will one day dorn the green white green jersey of Nigeria despite the disappointment of missing out on the last U-17 team.

Akiotu trained with the Emmanuel Amuneke team of 2015 but was withdrawn less than an hour into the session and subsequently dropped from the team the next day.

Despite the disappointment a close source to the player, Faisal Abdullahi told Owngoalnigeria.com that he still believe he will one day get his chance to play for Nigeria.

“Jason is fully focused on his club career and has his sights on breaking into the first team of Crystal Palace which he believes will be the stepping stone towards achieving his dreams of playing for Nigeria.

” He follows the various national teams of Nigeria and despite the disappointments of missing out on the last U-17 team he is still very keen on representing Nigeria in the future” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

Rated as one of the top teen left back in England, he recently trained with Leicester City reserve team and still he is reportedly on their summer wishlist with a bid expected before the close of the transfer window in the summer.
