Nigeria U-23 forward Junior Ajayi scored his 10th goal of the season in Tunisia Ligue 1 to help Sfaxien to a 3-2 win away to Club Africain who are two points behind leaders Esperance with two more round of games to go in the league.

The former Shooting Stars forward was the hero for his team a week ago, scoring the vital winning goal against bitter rivals Esperance and at the Stade Olympique de Rades he followed up Mahmoud Ben Salah’s goal in the 9th minute with a goal of his own in the 31st minute to put scores at 2-0 in favour of Sfaxien.

Despite what looked like a late rally from Club Africain, Sfaxien hanged on to claim all three points to take the race for the Tunisian league title down to the wire with two round of games remaining.

Although they are two points behind the leaders Etoile du Sahel, they are also pushing to pull further away from Esperance who are just a point behind them in third.

Ajayi was on for 85 minutes while his Nigerian compatriot at the club,Kingsley Sokari lasted 70 minutes before he was substituted.
