More insight on how Tunisian side Sfaxien met with officials of Enyimba FC of Aba to formally signify their interest in two of their stars, Mfon Udoh and Christian Pyagbara has been exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com.
Enyimba’s Chairman Felix Anyasi met with Sfaxien big wigs recently when Enyimba went to Tunisia to play Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia in the CAF Champions League and the main topic for discussion was Mfon udoh While a member of the Sfaxien management, Mr Ahmad has been asking about Pyagbara and Udoh from their Nigerian players with a view to swooping on one of them.
In view of these though, Sfaxien have not done their bid for a fourth Nigerian star in their fold any good following financial impropriety regarding their acquisition of Nigerian junior internationals; Junior Ajayi, Kingsley Sokari and Lukman Zakari.
In the case of U-20 central defender Lukman Zakari he was poorly treated and even threatened to cancel the pre contract agreement he has with the team before returning to Nigeria to join the Flying Eagles in camp.
A close source to Zakari revealed that even the club to club agreement is yet to be signed and during the 17 year old stay in Tunisia he relied on fellow Nigerians notably Junior Ajayi and Kingsley Sokari for food and shelter.
