FC Ifeanyi Uba have been prevented from registering their new signing Ismaila Gata by the League Management Company (LMC) due to their inability to meet the league body requirement for clubs willing to register players in the mid season window.

Gata is presently the second top scorer in the Nigeria League with 9 goals for Niger Tornadoes and his capture by Ifeanyi Ubah is viewed by many as a positive move to fortify their goal shy attack.

As exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com yesterday has already made his move to the Anambara based side after that Niger Torndoes issued him a clearance certificate but his registration has been held up by the LMC rules.

One of the conditions that the LMC set out for the midseason registration is the provision of attestation by all the registered players of the clubs that they are not owed salaries. The LMC had earlier warned that clubs that failed to provide certification will not be allowed to register new players.
