Nigerian duo of Rabiu Ibrahim and Kingsley Madu of AS Trencin have been named in the team of the year 2016 in Slovakia top league.
Madu who featured for the Super Eagles in their 1-0 friendly win over Mali last week made the team after making 30 appearances for AS Trencin with a goal to his name and four yellow cards.
20 year old who operates as a left full back is heavily linked with a move away from the back to back Super Liga champions with 12 months left to run in his current deal.
Rabiu last played for Nigeria against Swaziland in the 13th of November 2015 in a World Cup 2018 qualifiers which ended 0-0 and he made the team of the year on the strength of his consistency in the 26 games he played in the league.
The former PSV Eindhoven,Celtic,Sporting Lisbon and Kilmarnock midfielder also scored five goals this season, one more than his last season tally, however he picked up nine bookings.
25 year old Rabiu is reportedly angling for a move away from the Slovak champions with Middle East reportedly where they are interest for his services.
