The duo of Suleiman Abdullahi and Chidera Ejike are shining bright with the Nigeria U-17s who are in camp ahead of the qualifying series for the 2017 Africa Youth Championship.
Ejike fondly called Nigerian Iniesta trained with the last U-17s as a 14 year old has been wowing the coaches in training showing vast improvement from the last time he was with the U-17s.
Abdullahi who played at the Africa edition of the U-17 last year for Nigeria is slowly becoming the toast of the fans owing to how he has been performing in training.
Abdullahi and Ejike were part of the four Nigerian players who had a two week trial with Liverpool last momth, the other being Jacob Njoku and Charles Ezeh.
Coach Manu Garba will in the coming days name a list of 30 players from the over 2,000 players he has been observing the last one week ahead of Nigeria’s U-17s first game in August.
