AGENT: VARDY TO ARSENAL COULD HASTEN MUSA’S DEAL TO LEICESTER CITY

Top Nigeria football agent Babawo Mohammed believes Jamie Vardy potential move to Arsenal could force Leicester City to up the ante in their bid to get Nigeria vice captain Ahmed Musa of CSKA Moscow.

Vardy is expected to decide on a move to the Gunners before the start of Euro 2016 after Arsenal trigger his release clause of £20m and Babawo believes Vardy transfer could work in Musa’s favour who is coach Claudio Ranieri prime target to bolster his front line this summer.

Leicester City have had two bids rejected for the 23 year old forward by his Russian side CSKA Moscow, the first coming in January before a bid was again rejected three weeks ago from the Premiership champions.

“I am not his agent and beside the fact that I knew him when he was growing up in Jos, we don’t have anything in common but I know for sure that once Vardy leaves then the chase for Musa will definitely hot up, it’s so natural” Babawo told Owngoalnigeria.com.
