CS Sfaxien midfielder Kingsley Sokari who has made a miraculous recovery from a horrendous tackle he suffered against Club Africain is urging his team-mates to take advantage of any potential slip by league leaders Etoile du Sahel.
Sokari returned back to training on Thursday and could line up for Sfaxien against Zarzis on Thursday much to the surprise of many who feared the worst for him following the nasty tackle but to the delight of the club management and fans.
The 22 year old has started almost every game in the second stanza of the league in Tunisia for Sfaxien who can only be champions if leaders Etoile du Sahel slip in the final two games of the season.
The Sfax based side are pushing to win the title for the first time since the 2012/2013 season but for them to be crown champions they need Etoile du Sahel who are presently on top of the log to drop points.
Sfaxien are two points behind leaders Etoile du Sahel with two games remaining in the Tunisian Ligue 1 and the Nigerian is confident they will do their bit to overhaul the leaders if they slip.
” We have to fight till the end and am hoping to contribute my own quota to the team and hopefully we will do our best to be in a position where we can take advantage of any potential slip by Etoile du Sahel” Sokari told Owngoalnigeria.com.
