Former Nigeria U-17 and 20 forward Olarenwaju Kayode says German Bundesliga teams Wolfsburg and Schalke 04 are among the clubs looking to sign him.
Heavily tipped to leave his present club Austria Wien this summer, a team he joined last summer due to his impressive goal return of 13 in 34 game with 9 assists to his name as well, the 22 year old says he is aware top clubs want him.
A move to English Premiership side Stoke City has been mooted but Kayode won’t be given a work permit in England as he is yet to play the number of senior international game that will qualify him for a permit to play in England as a non-EU player.
“German clubs like Wolfsburg and Schalke 04 have shown interest in me” He said.
Wolfsburg in the words of Sporting Director Klaus Allofs are looking to reinforce their strike line this summer after the departure of Nicklas Bendtner and the possible exit of Bas Dost who has been heavily linked with Feyernoord and some English sides.
