The poster boy of Nigeria 2016 CHAN campaign Chisom Chikatara has agreed a sensational move to Lille of France,Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
The Abia Warriors forward who presently has five goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League was by far the shining light for Nigeria during their ill fated campiagn at the CHAN championship in Rwanda scoring four times from the three games they played before exiting the tournament in the group stage.

Chikatara was in Abuja alongside the chairman of Abia Warriors last week to hold talks in connection with the deal and a fee reportedly lower than what was agreed with Wydad Casablanca of Morocco before the deal collapsed has been agreed between the Aba based side and the French side.
“Talks are at an advanced stage for him to join Lille, I can confirm to you that the fee is less than what Wydad were willing to pay but they are add ons in the transfer including a future sale agreement which could mean more money for Abia Warriors in the long run” a source involved in the deal told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Chikatara turned down offers from Turkey,Russia and a big money deal from Al-Ahly as he couldn’t resist the lure of moving to France to team up with someone he views as an inspiration as a child in Vincent Enyeama”.
