Future Africa Football Academy of Kaduna State are set for a cash windfall following the reported 5 million Euros permanent transfer of two of their top discoveries, Nura Abdullahi and Sadiq Umar to AS Roma.
The duo were permanently acquired by the Rome based outfit after a season on loan and although they were acquired from Serie B side Spezia who got the teens from Football Academy Abuja, Future Africa Football Academy own a stake in their transfer.
Sadiq and Nura joined Football Academy Abuja three years ago from Future Africa Football Academy Abuja with a ten percent sell on clause inserted in the deal for the talented duo who were barely 16 years old then.
Football Academy Abuja took the duo to a youth tournament in Italy where they were spotted by Serie B side Spezia, one of the partners of the Abuja based Academy.
No transfer fee was paid then but Future Africa later benefited from their loan transfer to Roma last summer, however following their permanent signing with the Seria A side, the Kaduna based side will smile home with a percentage of the deal reportedly worth 5 million Euros.
