English Premiership side West Ham United F.C have made initial contact with representatives of Nigerian forward Friday Eze who currently plays for Al-Fujairah in the UAE.
His tally of 31 goals in two seasons has attracted West Ham United who have a strong presence in the Middle East and are currently searching for a forward.
The London based side spotted Manuel Lanzini in the region before signing him on a permanent base after impressing during an initial six month loan spell with the Hammers.
They also got former Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike from same region and according to leaks gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com, 23 year old Nigerian forward Eze has been contacted by an agent linked with West Ham.
West Ham are currently searching for a forward to bolster their frontline with manager Slaven Bilic openly admitting they are in dire need for a forward.
Eze scored 14 goals for relegated Al-Fujairah who signed him last summer after he was voted the best player in the Serbian League where he also finished as top scorer with 15 goals.
