FEYENOORD CONFIRM TRIALS FOR TWO NIGERIA U-17s HOPEFULS

Per a statement on their official website Dutch side Feyenoord has confirmed that Nigerian duo of John Ejeh of Fosla College and Kelvin Amadi of Excel will have trials with the club in the coming months.

The duo were handpicked by a Feyenoord delegation to Lagos for the Shell Cup Academicals final consisting of former Nigeria international Mike Obiku as part of the club’s collaborations with the NNPC Shell Cup competition.

Ejeh and Amadi who are presently in the camp of the Nigeria U-17s were adjudged as the two best players of the tournament by Feyenoord and the club have decided to hand them training time with their Dutch peers in the fall of 2016.

Aside the trials for the players, 40 coaches under training from the National Institute of Sports were also exposed by way of training to the Feyenoord way of coaching which is also a part of the agreement the Dutch side have with the organisers of the Nigeria school sports.
