OGUDE AGREES TO EXTEND AMKAR PERM DEAL TILL 2019

Super Eagles AFCON 2013 winner Fengor Ogude has extended his stay with Russian side Amkar Perm for another two years, a sign of how well he has progressed since joining the team in 2013.

Ogude’s deal was suppose to expire in the summer of 2017 but the 28 year old Nigerian who has been in international wilderness since winning the cup of nations with Nigeria in 2013 will now remain at the Zvezda Stadium till the summer of 2019.

Since joining from Valerenga of Norway in 2013 he has made a total of 55 appearances just four goals to his name despite his role as a defensive midfielder or central defender for the Russian side.

However his disciplinary record still remains a source of concern 24 yellow cards to his name from the three seasons he has spent at the club with a whopping 11 to his name last season.
