Kano Pillars midfield general Ifeanyi Matthew will in two weeks time travel to Norway where he will be expected to sign the dotted lines for Norwegian side Lillestrom.
Owngoalnigeria.com broke the news of his deal with the Norwegian side two weeks ago and according to leak gathered by us he has been issued a traveling visa to Norway to complete the move.
“He has been issued a visa to Norway and he will most likely travel in the coming days or week to complete the move to Lillestrom, let’s say in two weeks time but it could be earlier than that barring any last minute hiccup” a source close to the deal told Owngoalnigeria.com
20 year old Matthew was a part of the Nigerian team to the last U-20 World Youth Championship in New Zealand but injury restricted him to just one game after picking up a cut in Nigeria’s first game against Brazil.
A fringe player in the main Nigeria national team he had an above average showing for the B team at the 2016 CHAN Championship and he is rated as one of the best players in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
