Scottish Premier League champions Celtic and star defender Efe Ambrose are not on the same page on speculations linking the 27 year old with a move to Bayern Leverkusen.
Ambrose is thought to be high up on the summer wanted list of the Bundesliga side who are readying a bid of around £1.5m for the defender who has just a year left on his current deal with Celtic.
The Nigerian is reportedly keen to hear from Bayern Leverkusen but Celtic according to reports will be reluctant to part with Ambrose without someone coming in to replace him immediately with their Champions League qualifiers set to begin next week.
Visa issues has prevented the Nigerian from teaming up with the rest of his colleague in their camp in Austria with Manager Brendan Rodgers unsure if the Nigerian will make it to the camp.
“We are still waiting to hear on whether he’ll be here, we are just waiting on that”. The manager said after their 1-0 win over Sturm Graz in a friendly game.
