Osayamen Osawe is already proving to be a bargain buy for German second division side Kaiserslautern going by his impressive performances for the team in pre season training.
Signed in March from third division side Halleschen FC aside his strong showing in training he scored the fifth goal in their 5-0 thrashing of Pfeddersheim in a friendly game played yesterday
Born in Nigeria, Osawe moved to England with his parents at a very young age and currently carries a British passport and at the moment is the only English man currently plying his trade within the top three levels of German football.
A strong and pacy forward he started his career at Blackburn Rovers and had loans spells with Accrington Stanley and Hyde FC before moving to Southport from where he left for Germany to join 3. Bundesliga side Halleschen FC where his record of 10 goals in 31 games earned him a move to Kaiserslautern.
Yet to be capped by England and Nigeria at any level he is reportedly opened to the idea of representing Nigeria if he is called up by the West African nation.
