ANTHONY UJAH BAGS DEBUT GOAL FOR CHINESE SIDE

72 hours after completing his transfer from German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen to Chinese Super League side Liaoning Whowin, Anthony Ujah scored a dream debut goal to fire his new team to a 2-1 win against Shijiazhuang Ever Bright.

The former Cologne and Mainz O5 striker struggled to get game time at Werder Bremen and was released by the team two days back to join Chinese Super League team Liaoning Whowin just 12 months after joining them.

25 year old Ujah is on a season long loan to the Chinese team and has taken little time in warming himself into the heart of fans of the team scoring on his debut after coming on as a substitute.

Ujah was introduced in the 62nd minute for his Chinese Super League side with his team 1-0 up and the Nigerian doubled their lead in the 83rd minute which made Matheus late goal for Shijiazhuang Ever Bright a mere consolation for the visitors.

The victory moved Liaoning to 10th on the table in the Chinsese Super League.
