It was an evening of delight and despair for Manchester City loanee Chidiebere Nwakali who scored his second professional game but ended up on the losing side as his team Start suffered a heavy 1-4 loss at home to Bodoe/Glimt in a league game.
19 year old Nwakali was signed alongside Kelechi Nwakali but has not been unfortunate enough to be given a chance with the senior team and has been farmed out on loan to three different teams the last 18 months.
He has grown in leap and bounds since leaving Spanish second division side Girona for IK Start of Norway in March and after picking up an assist in their weekend 2-1 loss to FK Haugesund, he followed that up with a goal against Bodoe/Glimt.
Nwakali elder brother to Arsenal latest acquisition Kelechi drew Start level in the 57th minute his second goal for the team after over a year in Europe but the joy of scoring ended on a sad note with his team losing 1-4 at home.
He scored his first professional goal against Aalesund in May helping them to a 1-1 draw but this time around his goal failed to earn them any point as they slumped to a heavy defeat in front of their fans.
The Nigerian who spent a year at Malaga and Girona in Spain without making a single competitive appearance has so far made 13 appearances for Start and has cemented his spot in the starting eleven of the modest Norwegian outfit.
