Former Nigeria U-17 and 20 forward Isacc Success who happens to be Watford record signing failed to find the back of the net in his first game for the Hornets.
20 year old Success was introduced by manager Walter Mazzari in the 67th minute but failed to grab what would have been a dream debut goal as they play out a 1-1 draw against Woking.
Signed from Granada for fee above £12m the 20 year old played from the flanks as opposed to his favorite role as a forward as that spot was handed to Obbi Oulare who replaced Success’s Nigerian compatriot Odion Ighalo at the half time break.
Respected and highly regarded in Nigeria for his exploits with the youth teams of Nigeria, he has scored a total of 16 goals since moving to Spain where he played for both the B team and the main team in the La-Liga.
The close to 30 minutes workout will aid the fitness of the Nigerian who only recently started training 48 hours to today’s friendly against the non league side.
