The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will resume training tomorrow ahead of their second leg tie against Sudan in the 2017 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers after winning the first leg 2-1 in Sudan.
FC Porto bound Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen who is of Wolfsburg scored the goals that helped the Africa U-20 champions rally back from a goal down to beat Sudan at their backyard.
Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered that the boys of coach Emmanuel Amuneke were given a two days rest by the technical crew and will resume training on Wednesday evening at the pitch of the FIFA Goal Project.
While in Abuja the team will play at least one test game at their training pitch at the goal project before leaving the capital for Lagos for the Sudan tie which will determine if they will be at next year Championship which Nigeria won two years ago in Senegal.
They will train for one week in Abuja before traveling to Lagos on Thursday next week ahead of their clash on the 23rd against Sudan.
