The four injured players of the Nigeria U-20 team are reportedly in no danger of missing the return tie of the team against Sudan in Lagos according to reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com.
Yesterday’s training session was done with the likes of Orji Okonkwo, Lukman Zakari,Samuel Opeh and Anumudu Udochukwu not taking part in full trainings due to varying degree of knocks picked up in their 2-1 win over Sudan.
However we gathered from sources close to the team camp that they are in no way in danger of missing next Sunday tie as they are all expected to be fit for the game where they need to avoid defeat to be at next year Africa U-20 Championship in Zambia.
“We had players with knocks from the Sudan game, our opponents were very physical but despite the four you saw training separately, none is in danger of missing the return leg tie against Sudan” A source told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” They are all expected to resume full training next week ahead of the Sudan game, so no cause for alarm”.
