In what can be termed as a dramatic twist,less than 24 hours after he was reportedly omitted from Manchester City squad for their pre season tour of Germany and China, Kelechi Iheanacho has been included in the tour party.
The Nigerian who had a breakthrough season last time out with Manchester City in the league was said to have visa issues and hence won’t make the tour but that insinuation has been put to rest by the club.
Manchester City confirmed his availability for their tour via their social media handle putting to rest various report that he will miss the tour where they will take on Bayern Munich and Manchester United in two high profile friendly game.
His inclusion in the tour party will boost his chances of building on his last season heroics and also help him push for a starting spot upfront alongside the likes of Sergio Aguero,Wilfred Bony and new signing Nolito.
