According to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria, Flying Eagles defender Samuel Opeh has been given an Italian visa and will travel on Tuesday to Italy for trials with Serie B Perugia.
Owngoalnigeria had reported news about the Ace Academy prospect invitation by Perugia months ago when the Flying Eagles were getting set for their first round Africa youth Championship qualifiers against Burundi.
Opeh popularly referred to as Sergio Ramos due to similarities in his style of play with that of Real Madrid captain is a presently in camp with the Nigeria U-20s preparing for today’s return leg clash against Sudan in the 2017 Africa Youth qualifiers.
Nigeria won the first leg 2-1 which Opeh missed as his passport was as at that time at the Italian Embassy for visa procession and will be hoping to get into the team for today’s game in Lagos.
