Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp, was all smiles during the first half of his team 0-1 loss to Chelsea at the International Champions Cup Pre season tournament, thanks to an exquisite piece of skill from 18 year old Nigerian midfielder Ovie Ejaria
Ejaria, the one lad who has really taken to life with the first team of Liverpool in their pre season games so far, impressed the manager with his neat and tidy touch in the middle proving right the manager’s decision to start him.
The Nigerian in the 35th minute set free Roberto Firmino with a back heel that caught the Chelsea defence off guard for Firmino to finish but the flag went up for offside against the Brazilian.
Despite the fact that the goal from Firmino was ruled out, Klopp gave his thumbs up and nod of approval to the teen for the wonderful improvisation that set the Brazilian free.
However what would have been another faultless showing for the former Nigeria U-17 trainee was blotted by a yellow card he picked up in the 39th minute for a late challenge.
