Victor Moses fine performances for Chelsea in their pre season games is slowly making him one of the favourite player of new Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte.
The Nigerian who has been out on loan the last three seasons during the reign of former Manager Jose Mourinho, is doing his chances of staying at Stamford Bridge, a whole lot of good with his performances in the games he has played in pre season.
25 year old Moses was once again handed a start by Conte in their 1-0 win over Liverpool, and the Nigerian didn’t disappoint with another performance that clearly showed why he kept the duo of Juan Cuadrado and Pedro on the bench.
It was Moses forceful play that lead to the corner kick from which Cesc Fabregas well weighted cross was headed into the net by Gary Cahill for the lone goal of the game played in the United State of America.
For the duration he was on the pitch, Moses gave a good impression of himself, attacking and tracking back to help the defence in curtailing forays from Liverpool, a performance he is repeating for the third straight pre season game.
After the game, Moses was mentioned by Conte as one of his options in wide areas alongside the trio of Cuadrado, Pedro and Willian.
