Leicester City record signing Ahmed Musa says he has shifted his focus to Sunday’s Community Shield clash against Manchester United, after his two goals heroics in the Foxes 2-4 loss to Barcelona.
Musa struck twice in the pre season tie, including a stunning solo effort for his first of the game, earning praises from teammates and manager but the £21m buy from CSKA Moscow says his focus is now on the Manchester United game.
23 year old Musa, speaking in an unofficial chat with a contact person of Owngoalnigeria.com, thanked the Leicester City family for the support and praises while insisting that focus should be on Sunday’s tie against Manchester United.
“I have never felt so appreciated in a long time, and am saying thank you to all my teammates, fans of Leicester City and the manager for the kind words” Musa told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Scoring twice against Barcelona is a wonderful feeling but my attention is not on it anymore, I can’t wait for Sunday’s tie against Manchester United, that is my target for now”.
