18 year old Nigerian teen prospect Eberechi Eze who joined English Championship side QPR six days ago from Millwall, scored his first goal for his new side in a 1-5 thrashing they suffered in the hands of Southampton.
Eze, scored the game’s opening goal seven minutes into the friendly tie, which both teams used their Under-23s to prosecute, although Southampton had on parade experienced premiership stars in Jay Rodriguez and Charlie Austin.
The Nigerian fired in a low shot from a cross to stun QPR and came close to scoring twice in the game even though they lost heavily to their more illustrious opponents.
18 year old Eze signed a one year deal with QPR, but will spend most of his time with the Elite Development Team of QPR from where his progress will be monitored for promotion to the main team.
During his two years stay at Milwall he played as an attacking midfielder but showed also that he can play as the main striker in some games.
