Turkish Champions Besiktas has confirmed the signing of the twin sons of former Nigeria international Daniel Amokachi, Khalim and Nazim Amokachi on a one year deal.
Their trials with Besiktas was exclusively revealed by Owngoalnigeria.com last month and via a statement the club their Dad played 77 matches for in the 90s has offered them a contract.
The duo,20, were signed from Finnish second division side JS Hercules, where their father is the head coach and they leave the team without a single appearance for the first team.
Two years ago, the forward minded twins had trials with English Premiership side Everton where their father also played during his playing days but were not offered a deal.
They will now be looking to better their father’s record of 19 goals for Besiktas and to an extend try to emulate his cult hero status in Turkey where he is still been viewed as one of the best players to have played in the league.
