Liverpool Youngster Taiwo Awoniyi Passes Medical Ahead Of Loan Move To Dutch Side

Liverpool teen forward Taiwo Awoniyi is close to sealing a loan move to Dutch Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen after the successful completion of his medical examinations with the Dutch side.

His medicals took place today, after Liverpool reached an agreement for his second consecutive loan spell away from Anfield since joining the team last summer.

” He underwent medicals with NEC Nijmegen this afternoon, everything went well and he could make his debut this weekend, he is excited about the chance he will get in the team”. A source close to the deal told

NEC Nijmegen used their relationship with Liverpool to beat every other club interested in the services of the prolific forward, who was Nigeria’s best teen forward few years ago.

A late omission from Nigeria Olympic team, he left the team camp in Atlanta to sort out his club future after he was named as an alternate player in the squad for the Rio games.
