OMERUO: Besiktas In London For Talks With Chelsea On Initial Loan With Option To Buy For €4m


Turkish champions Besiktas according to reports coming out of Turkey, monitored by are in London for talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo.

Besiktas have been locked in talks with Chelsea for more than a month over the transfer of the 22 year old, who spent last season on loan to fellow Turkish side Kasimpasa.

Turkish-Football reports that sources close to the club confirmed that Besiktas President arrived London on Tuesday to hold talks on a proposed loan deal with the option to buy permanently next summer.

We gathered a loan fee of €700,000 is presently been discussed between both parties with the Black Eagles also keen on inserting a release clause option of €4m.

At the moment, Chelsea are not willing to sanction the buy option and want the defender who is without a single appearance for the club since joining them in 2013, to sign an extension as his current deal is set to run out in 24 months time.
