Top scorer in the Nigeria Professional League Godwin Obaje has snubbed a three year contract offered to him by top finnish side HJK Helsinki, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The Wikki Tourist forward who is still high on the priority list of Tunisian side Sfaxien and an unnamed team in Israel, rejected the offer due to the paltry salary he was offered.

Aside from the issue of his salary, the Finnish side wants the 19 year old to join them on an initial loan deal, which Wikki Tourist rejected as they are only open to selling him outrightly.

Obaje who recently returned from Spain, where he played in games for the NPFL AllStars team against Valencia, Malaga and Athletico Madrid respectively, still has high hopes of moving abroad despite turning down the offer from HJK Helsinki.

A short sojourn to Slovakia where he turned out for AS Trencin has made him to be very careful before commiting himself to any deal
