Nigeria youth international Nathan Oduwa was among the top performers for the U23s of English Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur in their 2-1 win over their Derby County counterparts.
Oduwa, who is yet to sign an extension to his contract that has just 12 months to run, was lively all through the tie, making himself a menace to the backline of the host, who found it hard to cope with his all round display.
The Nigerian won the penalty from which Spurs scored their opening goal after his quick feet saw him go past his marker, who had no choice but to foul the 20 year old in the box.
Since joining Spurs at the age of 11, he has grown through the ranks of the Premiership team, although he is yet to play for the first team but he has had a taste of league football during loan spells with Colchester United, Luton Town and Rangers of Scotland.
Omitted from Nigeria U23s to the Olympics, he represented England at U-17 and 20 level before switching allegiance to Nigeria.
