Liverpool highly rated teen prospect Ovie Ejaria left the home of his former side Arsenal with smiles all over his face after helping Liverpool U23s to a 3-1, despite a second half stunning strike by fellow Nigerian teen Chuba Akpom for Arsenal.
Ejaria,18, was the among the shining light for the Liverpool main team during their pre season tour and games. He was widely tipped for a role in the main team this season but an injury picked up in one of the pre season games against Chelsea slowed down his progress.
In his first appearance of the season, he was on from the start for the U23s and although he failed to find the back, he showed the handlers of his former team, how well he has grown since leaving the team with a commanding display in the midfield.
The other Nigerian on the opposite side Chuba Akpom who has been around the first team of Arsenal and sat on the bench for their first two Premier League games crashed in an effort off the bar into the Liverpool net to bring scores to 2-1, but was helpless as the young Reds scored a third to kill off the gunners.
