As exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com one week ago, President of Norwegian side Viking has confirmed they are in talks with Arsenal over a loan deal for Nigerian teen wonder Kelechi Nwakali.
Nwakali captain of the Nigeria U20 team, joined Arsenal in the summer, with the club confirming he will be made available for loan due to issues bothering on work permits in the United Kingdom.
As reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, a loan move for the talented teen will only be sanctioned if the club fails to get a work permit for him, and even at that, he will train with Arsenal until January as he has a six months UK visa.
Viking have forged a strong connection with Arsenal and even engaged the Gunners in a pre season friendly, a player exchange deal was also discussed by both teams after the team.
Speaking to Dagsavisen RA, CEO of Viking Eirik W Henningsen confirmed contacts have been made with Arsenal over the potential signing of the 18 year old Nigerian as well as American-German Gedion Zelalem.
However talks about their loan deal is in view of a move next year when the transfer window opens in Norway, as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com as well.
