Nigerian Trio Painting Vietnam Red With Goals


The Nigerian trio of Uche Iheruome, Odah Marshal and Ganiyu Oseni are currently the toast of fans of their various clubs due to their goal scoring exploits.


Already they have reached double digit goals for the season with former Nigeria U-17 World Cup winner, Oseni the latest to hit the mark after his goal in Can Tho 3-3 draw with Long An.

Odah Onoriode Marshall who plays for 10th placed SLNA has 10 goals as well, even though he has only scored twice in his last 8 games.

However, Uche Iheruome tops them all with 12 goals for Sanna for 9th placed Sanna, in what is his 5th season in Vietnam, same league he has twice scored 14 goals in a season.

The top scorer race is ironically a close battle between Nigerian born Vietnam citizen Hoang Vu Samson, who was formerly known as Samson Olaleye Kayode who stars for table toppers Ha Noi T & T.
