Israeli Champions Hapoel Beer-Sheva have added relatively unknown Nigerian defender Emmanuel Ushie to their ranks, bringing to three the number of Nigerians at the club.
Ushie joins the Nigerian duo of John Ogu and Anthony Nwakaeme at the Europa League campaigners, but the defender will have to work his way to the main team starting from the youth team.
The talented defender was signed on a one year deal with the option of another four years based on performances and career progress according to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com.
Scouted in Abuja by respected Israeli scout David Ouziel, who has helped in the transfer of many Nigerian players to Isreal. He was recommended to the scout by top Abuja coach China Osuji.
Osuji well know for his abilities to spot talents groomed the defender, who will represent Hapoel Beer-Sheva, who are in group K of the Europa League with Inter Milan, Sparta Praha and Southampton.
