Two players from Nigeria team to the last World Cup In Brazil have secured transfer to Slovak side AS Trencin, to bring to five the number of Nigerian players at the Slovakia Champions.
The duo of Rueben Gabriel and Uche Nwofor who were part of the World Cup team of late coach Stephen Keshi, have both been announced as players of the club through official channels.
They were both signed on a free transfer, following their release by Portuguese side Boavista. Their joining of the club bring to five the number of Nigerian players at the team despite the departure of Kingsley Madu and Rabiu Ibrahim.
Already the trio of Samuel Kalu, Aliko Bala and Maduka Eze are with the Europa League campaigners, who have a rich connection with Nigerian players of late.
