Manchester City legendary forward Trevor Sinclair says manager Pep Guardiola has succeeded in improving some aspects of the game of Nigerian teen sensation Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho has scored twice for Manchester City in as many games in two different competitions, and Sinclair who is a big fan of the Nigerian, believes new manager Pep Guardiola has done a lot in brushing some of the rough edges the forward has in his game.
The new Man City manager is well respected for his track record of bringing through talented players and Sinclair is of the opinion that his works is beginning to yield positive impact on the Nigerian.
” Guardiola has succeeded in helping Iheanacho improve his awareness in the box. His movement is much better and his abilities with his back to goal has also improved a lot under Guardiola” He said.
” Also the decision to cut loose Samir Nasri and Wilfred Bony in his favour has improved his confidence level. He now knows he is firmly in the manager’s plan. That too has improved his recent performance”.
